To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate both technical skill and a passion for aviation safety:

• Education & Certification: Recognised aircraft engineering qualification (e.g., Part-66, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience: Previous hands-on experience in aircraft line or base maintenance
• Type ratings: Type ratings on popular commercial or corporate aircraft are advantageous
• Regulatory: Understanding of CAA and EASA regulations

• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Communication: Good communication skills and teamwork orientation

• Other: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates)

• Pay Range: £30,000 – £45,000 per year for permanent staff (contractor rates available)
