The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands‑on and customer‑obsessed Process Engineer to drive standardization, integrate the latest technologies in our Delivery Stations and propose new innovation initiatives.

As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team you will be responsible for designing new Delivery Stations while supporting process optimisation and technology integration in legacy sites, improving safety, customer experience, quality and cost. You will act as a key point of contact for your area of responsibility in the country you support, frequently partnering with local Operations teams and other operational support functions.

This position requires deep customer focus, strong self‑motivation and exceptional project management skills, and will involve regular communication with customers and project sponsors at both the European and country levels. You will be detail‑oriented, comfortable partnering across functional business and technical teams, and must pair strong analytical skills with strong design and innovation operations intuition. The role will involve frequent domestic travel and you will report to the Manager of the Design Engineering team in the supported country.

• Drive new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration.
• Lead and drive technology integration and standardisation in EU‑wide programs and products, owning all layout integrations and optimisations in the assigned Delivery Stations.
• Contribute to network standardisation via best practice sharing with EU counterparts.
• Provide process expertise on engineering design defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real estate implications from process requirements.
• Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve processes and station designs, engaging and influencing key stakeholders.

You will lead end‑to‑end design for new delivery stations and work to improve existing delivery station processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Design and Construction, Launch and Expansion, and Safety. You will produce best‑in‑class layouts for new launches, optimise existing stations and present to leadership for approval. You will work on automation programmes to integrate new technologies into legacy stations and lead projects to create mechanisms that improve stations and devise innovative solutions to complex design issues.

Our team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design and develop best‑in‑class process infrastructure and layouts, delivering them as EU AMZL network standards.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities
• Experience working with CMMS software
• Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
• Knowledge of project management tools
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third‑party vendors
• MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or a related field
• Experience using one or more CAD technologies:
  AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Solid Works, CREO, BIM
  360, Sketch Up or Key Shot
• Experience with data analysis (including advanced Excel and database analysis)
