Stylist

THE EMPLOYER IS: HAIR & COAs a Stylist, you will deliver exceptional hairdressing services while creating an outstanding client experience. You will work confidently across cutting, colouring, styling, finishing, and maintaining Hair & Co's high standards of professionalism, creativity and team culture.

• Provide high-quality cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs and expectations.
• Recommend suitable services, treatments, and aftercare products.
• Maintain consistency, technical accuracy, and creativity in all services.
• Greet clients and build strong rapport.
• Ensure a relaxing, positive experience throughout every appointment.
• Manage rebooking conversations and promote salon offers where appropriate.
• Handle client concerns professionally and promptly.
• Follow all salon hygiene and sanitisation procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation at all times.
• Adhere to patch testing requirements and colour-safety guidelines.
• Ensure tools and equipment are disinfected and stored correctly.
• Prepare your station ahead of every client and maintain smooth daily flow.
• Assist with general salon duties including laundry, reception support and stock checks.
• Follow time-management expectations and complete services within allocated booking times.
• Work collaboratively with assistants, juniors, and the wider salon team.
• Maintain a team-focused attitude.
• Participate in in-salon training, model nights and ongoing professional development.
• Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
• Represent Hair & Co's brand values.

• Qualified in Hairdressing with a NVQ Level 2 at minimum, a Level 3 is preferred.
• Strong cutting and colouring skills with attention to detail.
• Great communication and consultation ability.
• Professional and client-focused.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn, and commitment to high standards.
