Job title: Platform Administrator

To provide comprehensive platform support to advisers, administrators and the Platform Manager, ensuring the efficient operation, governance and development of platform processes across the business.
Summary of job purposeThe Platform Administrator will support the day-to-day operation and oversight of platform activity across the group. The role requires strong technical knowledge of provider platforms, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities- Supporting migrations onto the Shackleton Hub platform and onboarding new client assets.
- Dealing with queries from advisers, paraplanners and administrators across the group.
- Managing issues, escalations, development requests and liaising with platform relationship/account managers to ensure resolution.
- Handling complex submissions, including trusts, corporate accounts, bonds and deceased cases.
- Creating and amending investment models.
- Processing manual trades and fund conversions.
- Running platform reports and validating data accuracy.
- Submitting asset/fund availability requests.
- Assisting with complaints handling and error resolution.
- Ensuring platform resources and documentation are accurate and up to date on the intranet.
- Setting up and maintaining staff platform access and permissions.
- Managing platform maintenance requirements.
- Handling AML and bank verification queries.
- Setting up and liaising with third-party providers and DFMs.
- Monitoring and managing team mailboxes.
- Supporting ad hoc projects and platform developments as required.

Person specification- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload independently.
- Confidence in identifying issues and escalating where appropriate.
- Strong IT and systems capability.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Previous experience within the IFA market and working with provider platforms (minimum 3 years’ experience preferred).
