We are looking for a barrister, practising in England and Wales, to volunteer and fill one vacancy on our Ethics Committee. particularly seeking one barrister with expertise in family law
.
Applicants should demonstrate an interest in, or experience of professional ethics and a desire to support their fellow barristers.
The Committee leads in reviewing the rules and guidance governing practice as a barrister, developing and responding to proposals from the BSB, assisting the Bar and other representative committees on issues of professional conduct and ethics and overseeing the work of the ethical enquiries service.
The Committee meets up to six times a year and reports directly to the Bar Council's General Management Committee.
