Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively seeking a highly organized and motivated Senior Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients logistics hub in the United Kingdom. This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing warehouse teams, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on leadership, excellent communication skills, and strong operational experience to manage large‑scale warehouse functions effectively.

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to ensure productivity and performance standards are met.

• Implement efficient systems for inventory management and stock control.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service departments for seamless workflow.

• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance and operational reports.

• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and recommend improvements where necessary.

• Manage shift schedules, resolve staff issues, and foster a positive, team‑oriented environment.

• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.

• Excellent knowledge of warehouse software systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to lead by example and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse teams.

• Understanding of compliance, safety standards, and operational excellence in logistics.

• Minimum 5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience
  , preferably in a large‑scale or fast‑moving environment.

• Experience working with automated or technology‑driven warehouse systems is an advantage.

• Prior international or multicultural team experience will be considered a strong asset.

• Full‑time position based in the UK Logistics Hub.

• Standard working hours:
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  , with flexibility for peak‑season shifts and weekend coverage when necessary.

• In-depth understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control.
