The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of HSQ to shape, elevate, and embed an industry‑leading approach to Health, Safety and Quality across all our operational environments.

What you will do Strategic Leadership & Governance- Lead and evolve Tracsis’ HSQ strategy across all UK, Ireland and international operations.
- Set clear governance frameworks that ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality project delivery.
- Act as the senior authority for HSQ standards, behaviours and operational controls.
- Own and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
, ensuring documentation and processes remain effective and current. - Lead external audits and support the business in maintaining certification.
- Prepare, govern, and refine RAMS documentation, ensuring risks are clearly identified and communicated.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee audits across the full project lifecycle.
- Work closely with Heads of Department to align operational processes with HSQ principles.
- Act as the primary client contact for HSQ matters, maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Serve as Project Director for major clients, ensuring standards are understood, met, and exceeded.
- Drive improvements in reporting, trend analysis, and adoption of industry best practice.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure meaningful corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and coach your direct reports, building capability and confidence across the team.

You’ll be a strong match if you have:
- Significant experience in Health & Safety within traffic data collection or wider field‑based operations.
- Proven success managing HSQ systems and ISO 9001 Quality Management
. - Expertise in creating and owning RAMS documentation
. - Understanding of client H&S expectations (e.g.,
WSP, Jacobs, Cheshire East
). - Strong audit capability, root‑cause analysis skills, and knowledge of corrective‑action frameworks.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and operational teams.
- Analytical capability and the ability to turn HSQ data into actionable insight.
- A track record of leading cultural and operational transformation across multiple sites.
- High attention to detail with a passion for safe, compliant, high‑quality delivery.
