Care Home Manager / Residential Home Manager – Elderly Care

Location: Isle of Wight
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager / Residential Home Manager to lead a high-quality elderly residential care home on the Isle of Wight. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Elderly Care Home Manager with a strong background in health and social care management to take full operational responsibility for a residential service supporting older people.

Applicants must currently be based on the Isle of Wight.

• Full day-to-day management of an elderly residential care home
• Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, care standards and best practice
• Leading, motivating and developing care, nursing and support teams
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred elderly care
• Managing staffing levels, budgets, occupancy and performance
• Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and quality assurance standards are met
• Acting as the Registered Manager (or willingness to register with CQC)

• Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Residential Home Manager or Registered Manager
• Background in elderly care within the health and social care sector
• Strong working knowledge of CQC frameworks and inspections
• Confident leader with excellent communication and people management skills
• Passionate about improving the lives of older people in residential care
• Must be based on the Isle of Wight (this is essential)
