Overview
We are recruiting for a Mobile Chef to join our team at various sites in Northern Ireland. This is a chance to work with a world‑leading facilities management company, offering career progression.
Working Pattern- 5 Days per week (full flexibility required)
- Various shift patterns – option to be flexible
- 40 hours per week

- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Planning, preparing and presenting all meals served at the required time, adhering to the service level agreement and client/customer/company satisfaction
- Adhering to special dietary requirements, paying particular attention to allergens
- Assisting to control and monitor financial performance of the unit to pre‑budgeted targets
- Purchasing and stock control in accordance with company suppliers
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to required standards
- Ensuring completion of due diligence records in line with food safety policies
- Preparation of any hospitality catering as required, some of which may occur outside of normal working hours
- Taking all necessary steps to ensure maximum security of the kitchen, store, office, safe and monies and any other areas under Mount Charles control
- Attending meetings or training courses as requested
- Preparation of buffets and hospitality
- Working as part of the team to maintain and deliver excellent customer service
- Minimum Level 2 award in Food Safety and Catering or equivalent
- Full driving licence and a method of transport
- Good communications skills
- Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- Ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
- Ability to demonstrate great teamwork skills
- Basic statutory training: reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis
