About the Role

We are one of the top three automotive retailers in the UK, proudly representing 32 manufacturer brands, selling a huge range of new and used vehicles from over 150 dealerships across the UK and Ireland. Charles Hurst Newtownards Renault, a part of this group, is hiring a Parts Advisor for their Newtownards location.

Contract and Compensation

Contract:

Permanent, full-time
Salary: OTE £33,834 (£29,444 basic plus bonus up to £3,000)

Working hours:

44 hours per week (between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon to Fri, plus Saturday morning 9am‑1pm on rota basis)

• Receive all parts orders, interpret customer requirements and advise on any additional requirements or prices, match orders against stock items and inform customers of any items not available.
• Create customer orders for dispatch, ensuring that they match the customer order and that any shortages are highlighted.
• Ensure that all orders taken are fully completed, invoiced and dispatched as scheduled and that customers are kept fully informed of progress or any problems.
• Maintain brand image and customer‑service levels in line with company standards.
• Deal with all customer complaints efficiently, referring unresolved issues to the Manager.
• Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and deliver exceptional service at all times.

Demonstrable sales or telesales experience, ideally in automotive parts and accessories; automotive product expertise and technical understanding of maintenance; prior experience as a Parts Telesales Representative for a dealership preferred; excellent telephone manner, natural communicator, adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders; commercially astute and results‑driven.
