Stock Control Coordinator

Location:

Carrickfergus

Salary: 30k per annum

Hours:

8:00am - 4:00pm

Reporting to:
Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Control Coordinator to join a growing operations team. This role is key to ensuring accurate stock management, maintaining data integrity, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

During an initial transition period, there will be a requirement to work across both Carrickfergus and Newtownards, supporting operational continuity ahead of a planned relocation to Carrickfergus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Control & Accuracy
  • Carry out regular stock checks, including weekly reviews of key and low-stock items
  • Investigate discrepancies (e.g., missing stock, pick errors), identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Complete routine stock reviews (including BIBO where applicable)
  • Support stock counts and year-end inventory processes
  • Data Integrity & Systems Management
  • Maintain accurate and consistent stock data across systems
  • Update product information, codes, and records
  • Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded
  • Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvements
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining stock control procedures

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in stock control or inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience investigating stock discrepancies
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data manipulation, spreadsheets)
  • Experience using ERP and WMS systems
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Flexibility to support operational needs
