ACE is looking to hire a Project Controls Consultant with strong expertise in construction scheduling, project planning, and progress tracking. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources and managing schedules to ensure the successful execution of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands an individual who can maintain a keen eye for detail, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to drive project success.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling software.
- Establish and manage baseline schedules, regularly updating them to reflect progress, changes, and potential risks.
- Conduct detailed schedule risk analysis and identify critical path activities to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedule alignment with project goals, scope, and contractual requirements.
- Lead and contribute to weekly meetings, providing status updates, and identifying schedule-related issues or opportunities.
- Handle verbal and written communications with clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.
- Proactively manage schedule-related risks, elevate issues as needed, and suggest corrective actions or improvements.
- Support continuous personal and professional development through participation in educational opportunities, such as training programs, industry publications, and professional organizations.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- Personal and professional development by participating in educational opportunities (reading publications, trainings, maintaining personal networks, professional organizations, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other comparable scheduling software.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling techniques, including critical path analysis, float management, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or related software tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex schedule issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Knowledge of industry trends, terminology, and operations, particularly in the construction and consulting sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling challenges.
