A Japanese Machinery Company focusing on automation is currently looking for a full‑time Japanese Bilingual Controls Engineer to join its Nicholasville, KY location.

The position offers possible visa support for STEM graduates. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both Japanese and English.
Ideal candidates will have a BA in Electrical Engineering with basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, and Vision Systems. Internship or co‑op experience in these areas is a big plus.
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 DOE with possible relocation assistance.

Essential Duties- Assist in developing and implementing control systems for automated equipment, including robotics, AGVs, vision systems, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Learn to address technical challenges by programming robots, writing PLC code, and working with various electrical control devices.
- Gain hands‑on experience in programming machines, powering them up, and debugging to ensure they meet specifications.
- Support the development of project bill of materials, participate in scope and specification meetings, and collaborate with the technical build group. Engage in comprehensive training and professional development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Entry‑level position open to fresh graduates; internship or co‑op experience in related fields is a plus.
- Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, and Vision Systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or Solid Works Electrical.
- Understanding of fundamental electrical concepts and industrial control circuits.
- Full fluency in Japanese and English is required.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
