We are looking for an experienced technician to operate and maintain glass forming equipment used to produce glass products. This includes machining, cutting, heating and finishing operations. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures product quality.
In this role you will:
- Setup, adjust, run, and maintain production equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Read, interpret, and record measurements using inspection equipment such as micrometers and gauges to ensure conformance to quality requirements.
- Aid in problem‑solving through identification and resolution of issues, and support continuous improvement with machinery or production processes.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum education:
High School Degree or Equivalent. - Minimum years of experience: 7+ years.
- Proficiency in operating machinery.
Travel and physical requirements:
- Ability to travel 75% to Miami, FL facility for on‑going training and support in first year of employment.
Preferred experience:
- Prior experience in glass forming.
- Use of measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges.
