3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

$32 - $38 per hour | Nicholasville, KY | On-site | Permanent

Our client is an established manufacturer operating a fast-paced production facility that relies heavily on industrial machinery and automated equipment. They are looking to add an experienced maintenance professional who can troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, complete mechanical repairs, and help minimize production downtime. This is a hands-on position with exposure to machining, welding, fabrication, and a variety of industrial equipment.

THIS IS A THIRD SHIFT OPPORTUNITY.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment within a busy manufacturing facility.

This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery to maximize reliability and minimize production downtime.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanical troubleshooter who is comfortable working independently on industrial machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components.
• Adjust and repair machinery to ensure proper operation.
• Fabricate or repair machine components when appropriate.
• Perform welding, cutting, and general fabrication work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment drawings.
• Assist with equipment installation and component replacement.
• Inspect machinery for potential mechanical problems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
• Maintain a safe and organized maintenance workspace.
• Support plant quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Properly use PPE and follow established safety procedures.

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair abilities.
• Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with common industrial machinery and mechanical components.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent maintenance training/experience.
