• Pay Rate:
  Drivers make $65,000 to $85,000 first year average after all training.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys forchoose accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. deserted including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
