Senior Civil Engineer; Data Center

Intro information

We are looking for Senior Civil Engineer with experience in Mission Critical Facilities and Data Centers.

Our client is a global engineering consultancy. They work together with their customers and partners on projects related to design and engineering of complex data centers and mission critical facilities.

You will be involved in the initial stages of the project: feasibility study, basic design as well as permit stage.

What is crucial for this role is that you know everything about underground facilities. Does Underground Emergency Fuel Tank Design, Sewage, Drainage or Seismic Isolated Pit Design sound familiar? But also how you are going to calculate the roads curves?

• Coordinating and communicating with engineers from the various designs relevant disciplines (architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction, and fire safety) and also directly with the customer.
• Designing and modeling civil engineering components, above ground and underground.
• Reviewing documents produced by colleagues and thus design quality assurance
• Share civil engineering experience and thus secure it with colleagues
• Providing design optimization proposals and thus an active “drive” from your field.

• At least 10 years of civil engineering experience and relevant university degree
• Experience in non-residential and industrial construction related civil projects;
• Experience in BIM projects working in Revit;
• Experience with Autocad;
• Office and Sharepoint experience;
• Experience in using BIM
  360 (Revizto is a bonus);
• Knowledge of underground infrastructure (including sewerage, electricity, data, waterassylum);
• Knowledge of above-ground infrastructure (including site layout, paving, roads, parking lots)
• Being able to draw up tender documents;
• Experience with projects in progress;
• An enterprising, proactive and flexible attitude;
