Our department Technical Services is looking for a communicative and enthusiastic Validation Engineer.

The Validation Engineer is responsible for the validation processes within supply chain: in ongoing operation ensuring production processes are kept in validated status (focus on food safety and quality-critical operations), and in (CAPEX) projects ensuring the project meets project requirements.

Responsibilities

(Co) develop Site Validation Masterplan (S-VMP) and keep S-VMP up to date to internal and external developments, ensure the site is always audit ready.

Lead and coordinate validation activities while providing clear evidence of status.

Ensure a consistent approach is adopted for all validation activities and related activities by setting the standards, coaching, supporting and leading by example.

Ensure capital projects are delivered compliant with the latest validation standards according to the required quality standards.

Develop validation master plan for capital projects, actively drive the timely delivery of qualification documents and monitor follow-up on deviation issues.

Manage validation budget within capital project to ensure execution of project validation master plan.

Lead audit inspections with respect to equipment validation.

Who are you? Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Good communication skills, verbally and written, in English and Dutch.

In-depth knowledge of validation processes and standards. Knowledge of GMP and food safety (FSSC 22000/HACCP).

Knowledge of engineering and project management methodologies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 organization in a dynamic environment.

Analytical thinker, strong organizer, communicative, flexible and team player.

Accurate in documentation.

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree or master degree in relevant technical field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in managing/execution of validation processes for multidisciplinary projects, preferably in food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industry.
