For a challenging project in Nijmegen, we are looking for a Validation Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, software development and system-level validation. In this role, you will work on advanced automotive applications such as infotainment, radio, amplifier, radar and Car2X products.
What will you do as a Validation Design Engineer?As a Validation Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, executing and reporting system and IC-level validation setups for key automotive applications. You will define test cases, automate lab tests and make sure validation results are clearly documented and shared with the project team.
- Releasing product updates on IC and application level for customer acceptance
- Defining and developing explicit test cases to cover IC and system-level requirements
- Translating lengthy manual lab tests into repeatable, reliable and efficient automated validation environments
Linking automated validation environments tightly to test cases and requirements - Supporting effective and efficient execution of system tests
- Reporting validation progress, results and issues to the team
- Defining and documenting system validation use cases
- Accurately logging results in project documentation and databases
- Working closely with firmware, hardware, system architecture and development teams
This is an on-site role in Nijmegen. Remote work is not possible for this project.
Do you recognize yourself in- A completed Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in validation, design validation or system validation
- A broad interest in electronic design and validation
- Experience in software development, gained through work, academic projects or internships
- Experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry, preferably with system-level behavior
Good knowledge of software engineering and the systems development lifecycle - Programming skills in tools and languages such as LabVIEW CLAD, Test Stand, Python, C or C++
- Good spoken and written English skills
