About the Job
You are responsible for performing maintenance and commissioning services on board ships.
Responsibilities
Follow safety procedures and report unsafe practices and incidents.
Show deep product knowledge of the key product line(s).
Prepare the service job for efficient execution based on the SOP of the job.
Travel to service jobs on board vessels, including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed.
Execute maintenance, repair, advanced troubleshooting, commissioning or other services.
Document work and conclusions while on board and get service reports signed by the customer.
Identify potential improvements including sales leads, give advice to customers and pass information on to own organization. Give input on SOP improvements.
Provide formal training to peers and customers; assist in developing training material and content.
Qualifications
Technical MBO+ or Bachelor degree with mechanical/electrical knowledge.
Basic knowledge of PLC techniques, process, measuring and control technology.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
