About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our engineering team as a Part‑Time RF Measurement Engineer. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art RF measurement equipment, semiconductor technologies, and advanced packaging solutions while continuing graduate studies. The successful candidate will support RF characterization, measurement automation, and data analysis activities for next‑generation wireless and semiconductor products including auto radar and wireless communications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct RF and microwave measurements on various semiconductor devices, packages, and test structures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform RF characterization.
- Support development of automated measurement solutions using Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
- Analyze measurement results and generate technical reports.
- Collaborate with design, packaging, and product engineering teams to troubleshoot RF performance issues.
- Assist in developing and documenting RF test methodologies and best practices.
Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineerin, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Physic or other related engineering discipline.
- Coursework or research experience in one or more of the following: RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetics, Wireless Communications, Signal Integrity.
- Basic understanding of S‑parameters, Transmission lines, Smith Charts, Network Analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Prior experience with RF laboratory equipment.
- Experience with measurement automation using Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with semiconductor devices, packaging, substrates and advanced packaging technologies.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of mmWave measurements, antenna characterization, or high‑speed interconnects.
- Previous internship, research assistantship, or industry project experience in RF, wireless, or semiconductor engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard RF measurement equipment.
- Exposure to advanced semiconductor packaging and wireless technologies.
- Mentorship from experienced RF and packaging engineers.

- Valuable industry experience while completing your graduate degree.
Max 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling to accommodate coursework and research commitments. On‑site laboratory presence required for measurement activities. Potential for additional hours during academic breaks.
