• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
• Perform required point-of-care testing and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients/families and support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and protect patient confidentiality
• Delegate appropriately to support staff to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
• Participate in unit safety initiatives, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development

• Required:
  
  Active Michigan RN license
• Required:
  
  BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Required:
  
  Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN completion timing may apply per facility guidelines)
• Preferred: ACLS
• Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with frequent interruptions
