Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship in welding/fabrication preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.
  • Proficiency with MIG/TIG/Stick processes and ability to pass a practical weld test (e.g., fillet and groove welds in multiple positions).
  • Ability to read technical drawings, perform layout, and hold tolerances per specification.
  • Familiarity with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code (Steel); current AWS certification is a plus.
  • Comfortable operating standard fabrication tools and safely rigging/lifting with cranes or forklifts (certification preferred).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety.

Required Skills

  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods during fabrication and welding operations.
