• Teach Physical Science and Forensic Science. Plan lessons, carry out effective instruction, and evaluate student progress toward learning goals.
• Create a positive and productive classroom learning environment.
• Work effectively as a member of a Professional Learning Community in a team environment.
• Participate in District and Building Professional Development opportunities.
• Implement the High School Science curriculum and engage students in high levels of learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents on student comprehension and progress.
• Support the High School building improvement plan.

• Current Missouri Certification in Unified Science, Chemistry or Biology in Grades 9-12 (required).
• Master's degree in Physics or Chemistry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of End-of-Course Examinations, Missouri Learning Standards, and effective instructional strategies.
• Willingness to collaborate with peers.
• Interest in coaching or sponsoring extracurricular activities (desired).
• Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that meet Board of Education standards.
