Floral Assistant at Pyramid Foods

This is an entry-level position at store level. The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Floral Manager in providing high-quality products to customers in a clean, friendly environment.
Reports To:Floral Department Manager
Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service
- Greet and thank every customer
- Assist the Floral Manager with daily duties
- Follow company standards and safety guidelines
- Receive trucks and organize deliveries into coolers
- Report safety issues to the Floral Manager
- Rotate stock items regularly
- Use markdown coupons for close-dated products
- Properly use merchandising areas to promote sales
- Follow dress code and wear a name tag
Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and exert force frequently. Ability to stand, move, and use sharp instruments safely is required.
