Entry-level Accountant

Entry-level Accountant - Nizwa, Oman

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-level Accountant to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of our company. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1700$ per month and includes accommodation. This is an urgent position, so candidates who can start immediately will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• No prior experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. Quick Books)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Must have own visa for employment in Oman
