Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant - Nizwa, Oman

We are hiring a Junior Accountant for our company in Nizwa, Oman. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our organization by performing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Process invoices and expense reports
• Conduct bank reconciliations and track accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
• Perform data entry and maintain electronic databases
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Preference for Malayalees)
• Biometric passport required (if non-national)
• Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Salary: 1400$ per month, with accommodation provided.
