Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Nizwa, Oman

We are a leading financial services company in Nizwa, Oman seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company and providing accurate financial information to management.

• Oversee all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying any areas for improvement or risk
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency of financial operations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff as needed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g. Quick Books)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
• Indian nationality preferred

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, along with visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
