Librarian

Librarian - Nizwa, Oman

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials. You will also assist library patrons in finding and accessing resources, as well as maintain the library's online catalog and databases.

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of the library's collection
• Help patrons locate and access materials for research or leisure
• Manage the library's online catalog and databases
• Process new materials for circulation and maintain accurate records
• Assist with developing and implementing library programs and events
• Provide reference services to patrons in person, over the phone, or via email
• Collaborate with other librarians to create educational resources for students

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using library software systems and technology
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
