Brief DescriptionEvolve Transporters is a high-end custom fabrication company based in Painesville, OH with a second service center in Indianapolis, IN. Our clients are some of the biggest motor sport teams and brands in the world, for which we assist in designing and fabricating race transporters. Reporting ToSr. Director of Accounting
Key Responsibilities- Manage all local accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
- Reconcile local bank accounts and monitor Indiana-specific cash flow.
- Maintain accurate and timely general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial records.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes for the IN location, including preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Administer local credit card and expense reporting.
- Serve as the on-site accounting contact for the Indiana office, coordinating with the Ohio finance team as needed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline local accounting processes.
- Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
- Support cross-functional financial needs within the Indianapolis operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and separation of financial operations.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage tasks without daily oversight.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Perform well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in office settings.
- 2+ years in an accounting or finance role.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (i.e. Sage
100).
