Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Financial Performance Analyst to join our team and support service department managers in understanding and improving their financial outcomes. This role focuses on analyzing financial statements, developing insightful metrics and real-time dashboards, and building strong relationships with division managers across the Midwest. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills to identify pain points and drive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial statements from service-related business units to identify key drivers of performance, including revenue, costs, profitability, and efficiency metrics.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards using real-time data to visualize financial trends, enabling managers to make informed decisions quickly.
- Develop and nurture relationships with division managers throughout the Midwest, conducting regular meetings to understand their operational challenges and pain points.
- Collaborate with managers to translate financial data into understandable insights, highlighting opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Design custom metrics and reporting tools tailored to specific service departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training and ongoing support to managers on interpreting financial drivers and utilizing dashboards effectively.
- Proven experience in analyzing financial statements within a service-related business or similar industry.
- Strong analytical background with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI).
- Experience building metrics and dashboards with real-time data integration.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Midwest as needed to engage with division managers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business pain points.
