Internexus Indiana, part of Antares, is an Intensive English school dedicated to delivering Intensive English programs. We provide students with experiences in academic settings while striving to give students experience in the social settings that make an English education complete. Our goal is to ensure that our students flourish in not only the important realm of academics but also increase their professional and social skills.
Our program is designed to focus on the core of English language instruction, as well as culture, customs, and the complexity of modern communication!
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Indianapolis, IN, for an English Second Language (ESL) Teacher. Day‑to‑day tasks include planning and delivering engaging English lessons, conducting assessments, preparing students for exams such as IELTS, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. The ESL Teacher will also participate in extracurricular student activities to enhance language acquisition and cross‑cultural understanding.
Qualifications- Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and TESL or TESOL certification. Candidates without a TESL or TESOL certification are still welcome to apply. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, TEFL, ESL, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Are well‑prepared for all classes, implementing the Internexus/Antares curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning.
- Keep accurate records, i.e., student attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
- Are aware of and adhere to all school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
- Attend instructor meetings and participate in Living Language Labs and other Center activities.
Pay: $1600/month, including paid school breaks and holidays.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday in‑person, from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
