Chief Executive Officer - Riverview Health

Summary

The Chief Executive Officer-Riverview Health will serve as the senior executive for all operations and strategy for Riverview Health. Reporting to Parkview Health’s Chief Growth Market Officer, the CEO will be employed through Parkview Health as a Market Executive for Parkview Health and lead all efforts detailed in the Management Services Agreement between Parkview Health and Riverview Health. The CEO will also work to meet the needs and expectations of the Board of Directors for Riverview Health.

The CEO is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of Riverview Health. The CEO integrates the strategic plan at the various sites by leading the executive team and forging positive working relationships with the Board of Directors and medical staff. The CEO ensures the quality of care and the safety of co-workers, patients, and physicians. The CEO provides direction for the environment of care, the efficient use of financial and human resources and the overall collaborative culture in the hospital.

The CEO forges strong working relationships with key community leaders and groups in order to promote a clear understanding of the services and collaborative role the hospital plays in the ongoing health and well being of individuals and the entire community.

The candidate must have a master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or another healthcare-related field of study.

Preference will be given to the candidate who is pursuing or has achieved an FACHE certification.

A minimum of five years of leadership experience in a hospital setting is required. Candidates must demonstrate a progressive set of management and leadership experiences.

The qualified candidate must demonstrate the strategic agility to gain consensus and build momentum toward the fulfillment of Parkview Health's mission, vision and values while nourishing collaborative relationships with the community the hospital serves.
