Job Summary

Trane Technologies has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Regional Sales Leader within our Life Science Solutions business. The responsibilities of this position are to hire, develop, and lead a high-performing Field Sales team, build sales processes and strategies, and accelerate growth for the business. The role will own and execute territory and regional planning, strategic relationship management, and value creation working closely with an internal network of stakeholders to evolve our customer experience and brand awareness through marketing and field activities.

The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor, communicate a crisp vision of what Trane Technologies brings to the Life Sciences space, and drive share gain and profitable revenue across the portfolio of Life Science Solutions product lines.

Where is the work

What You Will Do
  • Hire, lead, and retain the Life Science Solutions West sales team.
  • Attract, onboard, and mentor top sales talent; provide inspiration, coaching, and motivation to the team.
  • Develop sales excellence measures; identify and develop processes, sales tools, and reporting essential to manage key health systems and partners.
  • Analyze sales performance and use data to project sales and identify new opportunities; develop monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Travel regularly with regional field sales team (up to 50‑75% travel).
  • Overall responsibility for customer and regional sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, maximizing account penetration, and customer retention.
  • Responsible for achieving annual objectives regarding profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share.
  • Promote Trane Systems linkage Programs including In‑Warranty‑Service Agreements and Building Automation to Service.
  • Assemble high-performance teams and interact with Account Executives with differing business development requirements.
  • Manage ongoing performance by monitoring and coaching Account Executives for project attainment and business profitability.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and sales team as needed.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Prior sales leadership experience and success; proven ability to grow and develop a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability; builds a culture of trust within the sales team.
  • Proven collaborator internally and externally, maintaining long-term strategic business relationships at all levels.
  • Adaptable training and disciplined strategic account planning skills.
  • Exhibits persuasive selling skills and influences customers to choose Trane Life Science products.
  • Flexible and open to change, adapting behavior to new information and unforeseen obstacles.
Compensation

Total Target Compensation (TTC):
Starts at $175,000 including an incentive plan. TTC is based on experience.
