Responsibilities:
Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm, supportive environment where residents' well-being is prioritized. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and creating a homelike atmosphere that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention.
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility through transferring and repositioning
- Assist during mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary needs
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional states
Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification in Indiana
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility
- Passion for geriatric nursing and senior care excellence
