Accounting Clerk - Utilities Department

Join our team! We are hiring for the role of Accounting Clerk in the Utilities Department.

• Receive and process customer account payments
• Create and maintain customer accounts
• Answer telephone, respond to email, and assist office visitors
• Assist customers with registering and/or troubleshooting online billing/payment portal
• Prepare and mail various correspondence to customers
• Prepare delinquent sewer/trash account notices for review and processing
• Process Accounts Payable
• Provide administrative support
• Work closely with billing software, bank lockbox, and online payment/mailing vendors
