Travel stipend:
Anyone travelling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day.
At the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, performs patient treatments as indicated by the treatment plan. Documents treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Responsibilities- Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; ensures appropriate equipment performance prior to each use.
- Experience:
One year. - Education:
Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant. Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training or education verified and credited by an accredited OTA program are acceptable. - Certifications:
Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, current license in the State of Arizona, CPR certification.
