Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Assessment: an RN uses a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze data about a patient, including physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life‑style factors.

• Problem Identification: nurse’s clinical judgment about the patient’s response to actual or potential health conditions or needs.

• Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed within 30 days.
• Required:
  
  Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Ideal candidate will have 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & CPI (within 90 days).
