Registered Nurse; RN - L&D

RN L&D Full Time Rotating Position

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Utilizes assessment to collect and analyze data about a patient, including physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Planned and set measurable, achievable goals with patient and family; documents in care plan.
• Implements nursing care per care plan; ensures continuity and documentation.
• Evaluates patient status and effectiveness of nursing care and modifies plan as needed.
• Coordinates care with family and team from admission to discharge; includes delegation, supervision, prioritization.

• License:
  Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Certification:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association. Preferred:
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Education:
  
  Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  1 year L&D experience.

Travel stipend of $60 per day for travel exceeding 60 miles one way. Up to $15,000 bonus based on eligibility.
