Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Accounts Specialist to manage day to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role involves handling end-to-end accounting activities, tax compliance, reconciliations, and MIS reporting across geographies. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and day-to-day bookkeeping

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closures and prepare consolidated MIS

• Perform bank reconciliation and accounts payable reconciliation

• Ensure timely tax compliance and filings

• Compute taxes and prepare periodic tax returns for multiple geographies

• Prepare and manage financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L statements

• Organize and maintain accurate documentation for financial transactions

• Manage bookkeeping and tax computations using Zoho Books

• Maintain financial data confidentiality and perform backups when required

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations across geographies

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance

• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software

• Experience in MIS preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to manage timelines and work independently

• Basic knowledge of statutory and tax regulations
