We’re looking for a dedicated US Accountant (Billing Focused) to join our dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The US Accountant position is responsible for supporting the internal billing process to ensure accurate client invoices and timely provider payments. The accountant works closely with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues, maintain accurate records, and support continuous process improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review and process weekly provider timesheets and expenses to guarantee accurate and timely billing of client invoices and payments to providers.
- Verify all travel related expenses (lodging, airfare, mileage, etc.) and PCR expenses (licensing, credentialing, etc.) charges have been accurately processed through billing.
- Determine billable vs. non-billable client expenses based on assignment specific.
- Enter and maintain client billing and provider payment rates into the billing system.
- Communicate billing adjustments and corrections to the Credit & Collections team.
- Research, analyse, and resolve billing-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, recruiters, collection team) to resolve billing-related issues and identify process improvements.
- Escalate billing discrepancies in a timely fashion to management as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance-related role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Working knowledge of general ledger and financial accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills (ability to communicate effectively to nonfinancial team members)
- Net Suite experience a plus
