Position Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable accounting professional to support the day-to-day finance and compliance-related activities of our India operations. This role focuses on local accounting execution, coordination with external accountants, and close collaboration with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams, while providing regular financial support and reporting to Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses)
- Preparation of transaction data and schedules for GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, in coordination with external accountants
- Ensuring invoices, receipts, and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and properly archived
- Supporting audits by preparing requested records and reconciliations
- Month-end support including bank and ledger reconciliations and basic inventory validation
- Coordination with sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams on accounting-related matters
- Payroll processing support
- Regular financial reporting and coordination with Head Office
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com, BBA or equivalent)
- Relevant accounting experience in a company environment (experience level flexible depending on skill set)
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems or ERP (SAP preferred)
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred but not mandatory. Hands-on accounting experience is considered more important than formal qualifications.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with external accountants or auditors
- Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, trading, or import/export environments
- Prior experience coordinating with warehouse or logistics teams
- Mandarin language skills are a plus, but not required
- Open to business travel and future relocation as the business expands
- The company provides relocation support in accordance with internal policy, including company-arranged accommodation and meal allowance upon relocation. Official registration and examination fees for relevant accounting qualifications (e.g. CA / CMA) may be reimbursed, subject to internal policy
