Encore Piano Academy is an online music school based in India, dedicated exclusively to delivering high-quality Western classical piano education. Established with the vision of making high quality music training accessible from the comfort of home, we offer structured, personalised instruction to students of all ages and proficiency levels. Our carefully designed curriculum and student-centred approach have enabled us to successfully guide hundreds of learners across India and internationally on their musical journeys.
The academy is led by Siddharth Kumar , a musician and educator with formal credentials in Piano (ATCL) and Rock and Pop Guitar (Grade
8) , backed by eight years of corporate experience with a multinational cooperation.
Job Requirement:
Encore Piano Academy is looking for an online western classical piano teacher based in India to conduct online one-on-one classes.
Technical Qualifications
A Grade 8 certificate in Piano Performance from a recognised Western classical music board such as Trinity College London, ABRSM, LCME, or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates with Grades 6 or 7 in Piano and pursuing Grade 8 may apply however, please leave a direct message (via Linked In chat) to me if this is the case.
A strong foundation in music theory is essential. A Grade 5 Theory certificate is an added advantage.
Excellent command of the English language , both spoken and written.
Teaching Expectations
Ability to commit 10 hours of teaching per week spread out across the below mentioned time slots
Mon-Fri 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM IST
Prior online teaching experience will be an advantage.
Should have a pleasant and professional demeanour , and should be comfortable working with children aged 6 and above .
Must be professional , conscientious and detail-oriented .
Willingness to follow the Academy's structured curriculum and teaching methodology.
A minimum commitment of 1.5 to 2 years is required.
Hardware Requirements
To ensure a seamless online teaching experience, the following setup is necessary:
A stable, high-speed broadband connection suitable for uninterrupted Zoom calls.
A noise and distraction free teaching environment.
A desktop computer or laptop with a good quality mic and camera (mobile devices or tablets are not sufficient).
Access to an 88-key digital or acoustic piano .
