School canvas is seeking a passionate and experienced English Faculty to create high-quality academic content and deliver engaging recorded lessons for students from Grades 6 to 12 across CBSE and ICSE boards . The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience in developing structured learning resources for middle and senior school learners.
Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Content Development
Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the CBSE and ICSE curriculum for Grades 6–12.
Create engaging PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) to support conceptual learning and classroom delivery.
Develop question banks , including objective and subjective questions, based on chapter concepts and exam patterns.
Prepare worksheets, practice exercises, and assessments to reinforce student learning.
Ensure all academic content is curriculum-aligned, age-appropriate, and academically accurate .
Regularly review and update content to maintain quality, relevance, and clarity .
2. Recording of Classes
Record structured video lessons for English for Grades 6–12 covering both CBSE and ICSE syllabi .
Deliver clear, engaging, and concept-focused explanations suitable for digital learning platforms.
Use visual aids, PPTs, and examples to enhance student understanding during recordings.
Ensure recordings maintain high academic and presentation standards .
3. Curriculum & Academic Alignment
Align teaching materials and recorded sessions with latest board guidelines, exam patterns, and learning outcomes .
Ensure content covers literature, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension effectively.
4. Quality Assurance
Maintain consistency in academic standards and instructional quality across all content and recordings.
Collaborate with the academic team to review and refine materials.
Required Qualifications Master's degree in English / English Literature (B.Ed. preferred).
2–5 years of teaching or academic content development experience for Grades 6–12.
Strong understanding of CBSE and ICSE English curriculum and examination patterns .
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills .
Comfortable with digital teaching tools and content creation (PPTs, worksheets, assessments).
Preferred Skills Experience in online teaching or recorded lecture creation .
Ability to simplify complex literary and grammar concepts for school students.
Strong presentation and content structuring skills .
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality educational content .

- Either 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, 9 a to 6 pm or 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
