At Leverage Edu, we help students make one of the most important decisions of their lives - studying abroad. We're looking for passionate, student-first Study Abroad Counsellors who have hands-on experience guiding students through international admissions and can hit the ground running.

- About the Role

As a Study Abroad Counsellor in our B2C team, you'll be the primary point of contact for students - from shortlisting universities and destinations to offer management and enrollment. You'll own the full student journey and be accountable for conversion outcomes.

- Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end student journey: onboarding, counselling, follow-ups, and conversions

• Counsel students on destination-specific pathways - university selection, intakes, eligibility, visa requirements, and scholarships

• Provide guidance on standardised tests (IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT) and application timelines

• Build trust-based, long-term relationships with students and their families

• Track application progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks

• Coordinate post-offer processes with visa and international office teams

• Meet and exceed monthly intake targets

- ✅ What You Bring

• Graduate / MBA in any discipline

• 1–3 years of experience in study abroad counselling, overseas education, or international student recruitment

• Strong understanding of at least one key destination - UK, Germany, Europe, Canada, or Australia

• Excellent communication skills and a student-first mindset

• Strong sales, negotiation, and follow-up discipline

• Ability to manage multiple students simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
