Teach courses in fashion design, illustration, pattern making, garment construction, textiles, and related subjects.
Guide and mentor students in academic projects, design collections, and industry-based assignments.
Develop and deliver innovative teaching methodologies (workshops, studio-based learning, digital tools).
Contribute to curriculum design, academic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster industry collaboration, guest lectures, exhibitions, and student internships.
Engage in research, publications, or creative practice within fashion and allied fields.
Participate in departmental activities, seminars, and events.
Assist in administrative and academic responsibilities assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design / Textiles or equivalent (Ph.D. preferred or in progress).
Proven teaching experience at the university/college level or relevant industry exposure.
Strong knowledge of fashion design processes, CAD software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D), and current industry trends.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and presentation skills.
Ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking among students.
Preferred Experience:
2–5 years of teaching and/or professional design industry experience.
Publications, exhibitions, or research contributions in fashion and design.
Industry connections for collaborations, internships, and placements.
