Teach and facilitate IB English curriculum for students in various grades.
Develop and implement lesson plans that engage students and promote understanding of course material.
Assess student performance through a variety of methods including assignments, quizzes, and exams.
Provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning and address areas of improvement.
Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters student participation and enthusiasm.
Collaborate with parents and faculty to support student progress and academic success.
Stay current with IB curriculum changes and best teaching practices.
Support students preparing for international assessments and Olympiad competitions.
Essential
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or related field.
Certification in IB teaching or equivalent qualification.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in teaching methodologies and curriculum design.
Desired
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience teaching English in an IB or international curriculum setting.
Experience working with high school students and familiarity with IBDP, AS & A-Levels is preferred.
Background in preparing students for examinations and competitions, particularly Olympiads, is an advantage.
