Role Description  The Senior Program Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting suitable online and distance degree programs. In this role, the advisor engages with inquiries via phone, in-person meetings, and digital channels to understand academic background, career goals, and financial considerations. The advisor explains program options, eligibility criteria, fee structures, accreditation details, and curriculum, ensuring that students have a clear picture before enrolling.

Daily responsibilities include managing a pipeline of leads, conducting needs-based counseling sessions, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and coordinating closely with operations and admissions teams. The Senior Program Advisor also supports process improvement, mentors junior counselors when needed, and upholds Degree Drishti's values of honesty, transparency, and student-first guidance.
Qualifications
Strong student counseling and advisory skills, with experience helping learners make informed academic and career decisions.
Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse student and working professional profiles.
Ability to explain complex information (accreditation, eligibility, curriculum, fees) in a clear, structured, and non-pressurizing way.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms to manage leads and maintain accurate records.
Experience in higher education, edtech, or career counseling is strongly preferred; prior experience in student advisory or admissions is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, management, or related fields is a plus.
Proven ability to work with targets and timelines while maintaining ethical, student-first counseling practices.
Comfort working on-site in Noida with flexibility to support peak admission periods, including occasional extended hours if required.
