Role
Description:
This is a full-time, on-site School Counselor role based in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Greater Noida). The School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns. The role includes conducting assessments, maintaining confidential case records, and developing personalized support plans in collaboration with teachers and families. The counselor will provide career guidance, organize workshops on mental health and life skills, and support crisis intervention when needed.
The position also involves coordinating with school leadership to promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment, and contributing to awareness programs in line with ABCD’s psychology and personal development focus.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Student Counseling and Counseling to support learners with academic, social, and emotional concerns.
Knowledge and practical understanding of Psychology and Mental Health to apply appropriate, ethical interventions.
Competence in Career Counseling to guide students in academic pathways and career decision-making.
Relevant academic background, such as a master’s degree in psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Prior experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, establish trust, and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
Strong record-keeping, documentation, and basic computer skills.
Capacity to handle sensitive situations, manage crises calmly, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
Fresher or more than 1 year experience is required.
Salary is Fixed Rs 15000/- and transportation will be provided according to the school route
Candidates can relocate or from Noida only.
