Role Description The Assistant Professor for
B.Pharma at IEC College Of Engineering & Technology is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Noida. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in pharmacy subjects, preparing lesson plans and academic materials aligned with the curriculum, and assessing student performance through examinations, assignments, and laboratory work. The Assistant Professor will guide students in academic projects, mentor them on professional development, and contribute to departmental activities such as syllabus development and academic planning.
Responsibilities also include engaging in research or scholarly activities, participating in academic committees, maintaining accurate academic records, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
Advanced academic qualifications in Pharmacy (preferably M.Pharm or Ph.D. in a relevant specialization) from a recognized institution.
Strong knowledge of core pharmacy disciplines such as pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and clinical pharmacy.
Demonstrated teaching skills, including lecture delivery, curriculum implementation, and student assessment in
B.Pharma programs.
Research aptitude with the ability to undertake projects, publish in academic journals, and guide student research work.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body in an inclusive learning environment.
Proficiency in using educational technology, learning management systems, and basic computer applications for academic activities.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and participate in institutional development and quality assurance.
Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements for pharmacy education (e.g., PCI norms) will be an advantage.
Prior teaching or industry experience in pharmacy or related fields is highly desirable.
